Frustrated

My 2 years old kid is getting frustrated playing with this app. He used to love this app but since the new update hes not able to draw into the lowercase letters. He also waits for Elmo to say the letter when he chooses a letter around the square so he can repeat it but it goes silent. Did that function disappear or is there a setting to bring that back? I tried removing the app and re-installing it, still has the bugs. Please fix the bugs, I hate seeing him angry and disappointed!
